Successfully updated my server to a clean installation of Arch Linux, and named it "Computer" (né "BeigeFlame") in the style of Star Trek & Invader Zim: "Computer! Calculate the trajectory of blah blah blah." "Computer! Give me all the information you have on the FBI."Also, the Linux kernel (v1.0) is 15 today!

I knew it would come to this: "Air Force officials will select approximately 10 percent of UPT graduates to begin UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) training... at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada." According to the Air Force Times, 100 UPT grads per year-- "for as many years as this type of need remains"--will be assigned UASs as their first three- to four-year assignment, with a follow-on in a manned aircraft. The AF is also exploring a UAS career track for non-pilot officers, beginning with a small group of 10 in Jan '09. Hoo boy...13 Sep 08
